Based in Leicestershire, On the Edge is an independent business run by Julie (Jules) and Rob Chapman.  The business was started in 2004 with our roots firmly based in bespoke picture framing . 

Based on what is a fairly unique concept of visiting our customers to let them choose frames from the convenience of their home or office, our business and list of customers has seen a continual growth (so we must be doing something right!).

All our framing work is done ‘in-house’ on a truly bespoke basis. We don’t contract out or buy in any ready made frames.

Following demand from our regular artists, in 2008 we expanded the business to offer reproduction and printing of art.

Using the very latest scanning and wide format print equipment, our investment in these technologies allows us to produce giclée art prints for open or limited editions, as well as canvases and photo printing.

In 2008 we were accepted as a member of the Fine Art Trade Guild a worldwide body setting standards for art and framing.

We take great pride in the attention to detail we give to each job and we place a great emphasis on completing the work on time!

We hope we have managed to balance the benefits and levels of personal service that only a small business can provide, whilst still being able to supply the products and utilise the technologies that larger businesses rely on.
